Since its inception in 1984, Titan Company continues to grow and set new standards for innovation and quality. With more than 1200 retail outlets across over 220 towns, having a carpet area of over 1.6 million sq. ft., it has India's largest retail network. Apart from the 11,000 multi-brand dealer outlets for watches, 367 World of Titan stores and 180 Fastrack stores and kiosks, it also operates as the largest jewelry retailer in India with over 160 Tanishq boutiques and Zoya stores as well as over 30 Gold Plus stores. It also sports more than 280 Titan Eye+ stores and is backed by over 7,000 employees and innumerable admirers' world over.
DISTRIBUTION IN INDIA
A key business partner of Titan in the market place is the redistribution stockist. The distribution channel handles well over 50% of the watch business of the company. The main focus of this channel is market penetration and coverage. Currently they have 65 distributors handling well over 11,000 dealers across the country. Titan's growth rate in the marketplace requires them to appoint new distributors every year. The combined stockholding and credit to the market is controlled to stay within stipulated limits. The distributor channel operates independent of all other channels and reaches out to its own set of distinct dealers.
They distribute through an exclusive distributor in each country, who is responsible for indenting, distributing, servicing, assisting and providing marketing support for the brand.
