Realme’s intentions are now evident from the unveiling of Realme X2 Pro which is solely designed to take on many recent high-end Chinese smartphones like Redmi K20 Pro and OnePlus 7T. The intentions will be fulfilled by the high-end specifications and low price of the phone. The Realme X2 Pro at certain aspects easily rivals and surpass OnePlus 7T and Redmi K20. Hence the Specs-ground after the launch of Realme X2 Pro will not be dominated just by phones from OnePlus or Xiaomi. It is only a matter of time when people will have another alternative of OnePlus 7T.

Display
The Realme X2 Pro has got similar specifications like that of OnePlus 7T. Like OnePlus 7T it has got a 6.5” 90Hz Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 x 2400 and has got HDR 10+ certification, display covers 100% DCI-P3 gamut. The display also supports DC dimming which helps in further reducing the flickering at low brightness. The under-display fingerprint scanner and a notch are no new things. All in all, the display of Realme X2 Pro will be amazing.
Chipset
The new arrival will run on premium Snapdragon 855+ (7nm) chipset and the clockwork will include Octa-core processor (1x2.96 GHz Kryo 485 & 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 485 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 485) which is also found in OnePlus 7T. The GPU is also the same as that of OnePlus 7T that is Adreno 640.

The Realme X2 Pro comes with a centrally and vertically aligned quad-camera setup at the back which incorporates 64 MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera sensor, 13 MP f/2.5 telephoto sensor, 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The Realme’s camera knockdowns OP7T’s camera in terms of Mega Pixels and an extra sensor for depth sensing but OP 7T’s main camera lens is of 48 MP f/1.6 which captures better images at low lighting ambiance. Hence it can be considered as a win-win situation for both the beasts.
Battery
The Realme X2 Pro is powered by a 4000 mAh of non-removable Li-Po battery which sets Realme X2 Pro above OP 7T. Not only the capacity but fast charging on Realme X2 Pro is also remarkable, as it gets charged from 0 to 100% in just 35 minutes using a 50W fast charger (Super VOOC Flash charge from Oppo)
Features and OS
The Realme X2 Pro will run on Android 9.0 out of the box and is said to get Android 10 update in near future. The OnePlus 7T is at the upper hand in terms of OS optimization and speed, as it comes with Android 10 out of the box and well-optimized Oxygen OS. In terms of features, the Color OS offers more features than Oxygen OS.
Price in India and release in India
It is advisable to expect Realme X2 Pro and Realme XT 730G to be on Indian store shelves before the end of 2019 and with a Price mark of Rs.35,000/-
