Olden days are back, many motorcycle brands are designing their upcoming bikes with vintage looks and with the power of modern technology. Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet are the perfect example of this.

Royal Enfield has been selling bikes in India for quite a long time and is a popular toady for its much loved Classic 350 and Bullet. These bikes are known across India for looks, power, and roar. These bikes are soon going to face rivalry from Benelli’s upcoming Imperiale 400. Benelli is an Italian motorcycle brand renowned for manufacturing and selling powerful bikes in different countries around the world. Recently Benelli India has confirmed their launch of Benelli Imperiale 400 in India and has started accepting booking of bikes.

 

Power and performance

The Benelli Imperiale 400 is powered by a single-cylinder 373 CC engine which will ultimately compete with Royal Enfield’s Classic 350. The motor produces power of 19.7 PS and the ultimate torque of 28 Nm. The 350 CC engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine of the ride is expected to be BS6 compliant.

At the front, the bike has got Telescopic fork suspension and at the rear, it has twin shock absorbers. The bike gets slowed down by disc brakes at both wheels assisted with dual-channel ABS for safety.

 

Looks

The stance of the bike is similar to that of Royal Enfield Classic 350. The Benelli Imperiale 400 maintains the charm of vintage bikes and looks classic. The round headlamp at the front and spring-loaded seats give some touches from the past. In terms of looks, the competition will be fierce between Classic 350, Benelli Imperiale 400 and JAWA. The Benelli Imperiale 400 will come in 3 paint variants- Red, Black, and Chrome.

Price, Release date and bookings

The ex-showroom price of Benelli Imperiale 400 is expected to be in the range of Rs.2.0 lakh to Rs.2.3 lakh. The launch of the bike is announced to take place on 25th October 2019 and currently, the brand is accepting bookings with the booking amount of Rs.4000/-. The bike will be offered with three years of unlimited kilometer warranty by default.
