New color variant launched in India
Kawasaki launched an adventure touring bike called the Kawasaki Versys 1000 in India which is not just the styling update to its previous version. The latest version of the Kawasaki Versys 1000 got new color variants for 2020. The Versys 1000 is the brand’s flagship range bike that comes with specifications such as a 4-cylinder engine that produces more than 100 bhp and more. In addition to this, the bike also brings hosts of features that enhance the performance of bike along with some other features related to safety and convenience. The Kawasaki Versys 1000 rivals Ducati Multistrada 950, and Honda Africa Twin.

Kawasaki has brought new color schemes that are namely ‘candy lime green’ with ‘metallic spark black’. The bike is currently available in colors like ‘pearl stardust’ with ‘metallic spark black’. The bike at a glance seems well-heightened, slim and lengthy which makes its wheels look relatively smaller. The overall stance of the bike is that of an off-roading bike with many sporty elements. The bike looks nice and attractive because of its twin headlight and a windshield which makes it look like a sports bike though it’s not. The exhaust of the bike looks greatly different, as it is short and low-lying.
Specifications
The Kawasaki Versys 1000 runs on a 4-cylinder 1043 CC liquid-cooled petrol engine which produces maximum power of 120 PS @9000 rpm and torque of 102 Nm @7500 rpm. The bike gives a mileage of 13 kmpl. The engine is mated with a 6-speed transmission system comprising a slipper clutch. The fuel tank of the bike can store 31 liters of fuel.
At the front the bike has a pair of semi-floating disc-brakes and 43 mm inverted fork suspension, while at the rear end; the bike has a 250 mm disc for braking and a gas-charged adjustable mono-shock shock-absorber.
