Honda CBR 300R-to get launched in India very soon

Honda has not launched a bike in the range of 300 CC for long and now it’s the time for Honda CBR 300R. Honda is going to launch the Honda CBR 300R very soon which will stand as a better option for power-seekers than the existing CBR 250R. The Honda CBR 300R will not only be the power-upgraded version but also the one which will show new looks. The launch of the CBR 300R will be in the lieu of re-entering in the game of power, as YAMAHA and Kawasaki swiftly took a major market share because of their bikes defeating the Honda Bikes in terms of power and performance.

Design and Appearance

The overall stance of the upcoming Honda CBR 300R will be similar to that of the Honda CBR 250R. The styling of the CBR 300R will be inspired from the CBR 500R and will have a twin split headlights and extensions at the tank. The bike will have sporty looks and will offer a comfortable sporty riding posture aided by the two-piece handle and slightly set back seat.

Specifications: Honda CBR 300R engine and other components

The Honda CBR 300R will have the re-bored engines from the CBR 250 R which will produce more power entailing the increment in the displacement volume. The Honda CBR 300R will have a 286 CC single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which will produce a power of 31 PS at 8500 rpm and will offer a peak torque of 27 Nm at 7250 rpm. The engine will definitely be fuel-injected one.

For decelerating and halting the Honda CBR 300R will have a 296mm disc brake at the front-wheel and a 220 mm one at the rear wheel.

The suspension duties at the front will be handled by a telescopic fork at the front and a 5-step adjustable mono-shock at the posterior.

When launched the Honda CBR 300R will rival the bikes in the 300 to 400 CC range like Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390, TVS Apache RR 310 and other similar bikes.

The expected Ex-showroom price of the Honda CBR 300 R is Rs.2.5 lakhs and the on-road price may go upto Rs.3.1 lakhs.
