The latest bike from  Jawa is the newly launched Jawa Perak whose bookings will start from 1st January 2020 in India while the sales and delivery are likely to begin after the 4th of April. The Jawa Perak is an upgrade over previous Jawa bikes in terms of power and to some extent in design. The new Jawa Perak packs a more powerful engine that entails the increment in performance as well as a power output. Jawa Perak will rival similar bikes like Royal Enfield Classic, Royal Enfield Thunderbird and few others falling in the same segment.

Jawa Perak Looks

Jawa Perak retains the bobber design and is entirely a dark-themed bike that comes in all black color with slight tan-color touches in the form of tear-lines at specific locations like sides of fuel-tank and over the tool-box which altogether makes it appear dark and bold. The handlebar is wide and the instrument console comes in minimalistic design containing only a speedometer, odometer and the fuel-indicator. The bikes bobber stance is maintained by the low-floating single tan-colored seat which comes integrated with an LED taillight.

Specifications: Jawa Perak

The powerhouse of the bikes is the 343 CC single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled engine that offer 30 bhp and peak torque of 31 Nm. The Jawa Perak’s engines are made out of Jawa and Jawa Forty-two’s engines which are bored out to increase the displacement in lieu of increasing the power of the bike. The engine of the Jawa Perak is also BS6 compliant which is in the favor of protecting the environment. The motor of the Jawa Perak comes paired with 6-speed manual gearbox.

Jawa Perak has telescopic-fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear which seems violating the custom of adding twin shock absorbers. The halting of the bike is done by disc brakes present at both the wheels and with the aid of dual-channel ABS. The Jawa Perak brings a longer swingarm when compared to the previous Jawa bikes

Price of Jawa Perak

The disclosed Ex-showroom Price of Jawa Perak is Rs.1,89,000/- which is Rs.12,000/- more than the one which was announced before the launch. In all, the on-road price of the bike will cross the mark of Rs.2.0 lakh no matter which city you select.
