Yamaha MT15: Looks

The Yamaha MT 15 flaunts its overall stance as a combination of FZ and R15. The MT 15’s and R15 have a common frame which is Yamaha’s Deltabox frame derived from the R1. The anterior of the bike somewhat looks like FZ and the posterior seems quite thin for the bike. The bike is themed to be as a dark night warrior so it holds dark shade of blue or black paint over the skin. Intimidating headlights of Yamaha MT 15 incorporates LED headlamps and the cumulatively the front end looks like a face wearing a masquerade mask but of dark black color. The MT 15 is available in two colors: blue and black.

Review

Overall the Yamaha MT 15 is good at delivering performance just like Yamaha R15 but there are some cons at some other aspects.

Pros: Easy to ride, powerful 155 cc engine, above expected fuel efficiency because of VVA.

Cons: Suspension needs improvements, inferior build quality, price too high for the middle class.

Features

  • VVA – Variable Valve Actuation
  • Assist and slipper clutch
  • Single-channel ABS
  • Negative LCD display on digital console

Price

Although Yamaha MT 15 is just a 150 cc bike, the pricing of the bikes is too high because of its basis as a street racing bike. The Ex-showroom Price of the YAMAHA MT15 in India is Rs.1,36,000/-
