The Honda CB Shine SP is powered by a 124.73 CC engine which produces the maximum power of 10.16 bhp @7500 rpm and consummate torque of 10.30 Nm @5500 rpm. The engine of Honda CB Shine SP conforms to BSIV norms and hence Honda needs to revise the engine and exhaust system to comply with BS6 standards.

The engine of the bike comes mechanically coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox to provide better fuel economy and range the top speed to 102.9 Kmph.

Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic suspension at the front and spring-loaded one hydraulic type at the rear.

For halting and decelerating, the bike at the rear wheel has a drum brake and at the front, the buyer can either buy a disc-brake variant or a drum brake variant.
