Realme to soon launch its TV in India

It is clear that Realme is unlikely to stop trailing Xiaomi Mi and other renowned Chinese brands like Oneplus which is clearly demonstrated by some reports. The reports state that the Realme is currently working on its forthcoming TV and will be soon unveiling the same in India and maybe before the end of 2019. By the launch of TV, Realme will enter into the whole new world of smart TVs and there too it will face fierce competition just like it did in the Smartphone segment a few years back. But still there is no Final word from the brand whether it will launch single or multiple idiot panels - you may call it smart Panels.

Realme is about to launch the much-awaited Realme X2 Pro and Realme XT 730G at the event which will be held in the month of December, and it would be not wrong to expect the unveiling of the TV at the same event which is also confirmed by few sources.

Already ready rival - Xiaomi

The intentions are clear, For Realme to get a major share in TV’s segment, it needs to go head-on with Xiaomi who holds a prominent place in the market of Smart TV in India. The Xiaomi TVs have recently received refinement and up-gradation in the form of new launches. Xiaomi recently augmented its catalog by launching the successors of previously launched smart TVs varying in sizes from entry-level 32 inches up to the premium class 65 inches smart TVs. The beloved Xiaomi TVs will definitely suffer the consequences of the forthcoming Realme TVs but no one can clearly estimate to what extent, as it is unclear how many sizes of TV will be launched by the new contender.

Recently many other smartphone brands indulged in the arena of Smart TVs, for instance, Motorola and OnePlus. So, it will be definitely difficult for Realme to get its place in the already overcrowded sector. Although to a smaller scale but the same problem was faced in the past by Xiaomi and people are evident that how tactfully the brand acquired the top position in India. Xiaomi recently claimed that it had sold over 2.5 lakh TV units across India in a recently finished festive sale.

So it becomes inevitable for Realme to implement its past strategy of launching the feature-proof product at extremely low prices. The brand has been successful in the past in the smartphone segment and it now expects the technique to work in the TV segment too. Unfortunately, nothing is known about the specifications of the upcoming Realme TV, but expect it to be standing in the budget range smart TVs.

Now it is only a matter of time and only time will tell what surprise Realme has to offer crowd and for competitors, unless Realme leaks few details before the launch.
